We re-read the pricing, help and developer pages of the 14 scheduling tools in our comparison table on 7 November and published five new pages on top of them.
What is new
- Three head-to-head pages: Buffer vs Hootsuite, Buffer vs Later and Metricool vs Buffer. Each works out the monthly bill for the same setups (one brand on five networks, several brands, a team that needs approvals) from the prices each vendor publishes.
- Two more alternatives pages: Later alternatives and Metricool alternatives, beside the ones for Buffer, Hootsuite and Sprout Social.

What changed since October
- Hootsuite’s publishing MCP server, Perch, saves drafts: its developer documentation says it does not publish or schedule.
- Later’s free plan is now stated: 12 posts per profile a month.
- Planable’s MCP is listed on paid plans, and Agorapulse’s MCP is out of beta.
How we write them
Every cell links to the page it was read on and carries the day. Mellow Hub is one of the columns, marked as ours, with a section on what it lacks: no free plan, no team seats, no shared inbox. Where Buffer or Metricool is the cheaper choice, the page says so.
