Mellow Hub for Mac: every release

What changed in each version of Mellow Hub for Mac, newest first, in your language. The app installs updates itself.

← All updates

Mellow Hub looks for updates by itself, every hour, and installs one when you restart it. To update now: the Mellow Hub menu, then Check for Updates….

  1. 1.3.10Current

    • Auto-replies are in the View menu with ⌘5: one keystroke to the comment-to-DM rules for your Instagram posts.
    • Auto-replies sit higher in the Hub sidebar, in a section of their own, and the welcome tour and slides now show how they work.
  2. 1.3.9

    • Mellow Hub opens as a full window, the first time after installing it too. The widgets stay in the menu bar.
    • Cerebro keeps sorting while you use other tabs, and picks up where it was when you come back.
    • Photos go to a post while the library is still being read.
  3. 1.3.8

    • Cerebro's ball holds more of your photos: half as many again gather in it, and they take a little longer to fly into their albums.
  4. 1.3.7

    • Cerebro now opens whole albums: open any album after sorting and see every photo and video in it, not only the first ones.
    • Choose photos and videos and send them to a new post in Hub with one click. They go in full quality, without the place they were taken. Nothing leaves this Mac until you send it.
  5. 1.3.6

    • Mellow Hub is now a full Mac app. It stays in the Dock, and the close button puts the window away instead of quitting: click the Dock icon and it is back where you were.
    • Updates are looked for every hour. When one is ready you get a notification and a window with Install and Restart or Later. Nothing restarts until you say so, and after the restart Mellow Hub opens where you were.
  6. 1.3.5

    • Cerebro now gathers your photos into the ball within seconds of starting, and they go off to their folders while the rest of the library is still being counted.
    • Sorting still happens on this Mac. Nothing is uploaded.
  7. 1.3.4

    • Cerebro reads your Photos library faster: screenshots and screen recordings are filed straight from what Photos already knows about them, and the small images it looks at come from the thumbnails Photos keeps on this Mac.
    • Sorting still happens on this Mac. Nothing is uploaded.
  8. 1.3.3

    • After Restart to update, Mellow Hub opens its window again, instead of coming back only as an icon in the menu bar.
  9. 1.3.2

    • Open a photo in Cerebro, from the ball of photos while it sorts or from a folder afterwards, and it now shows large and sharp, made from the original on this Mac.
    • Sorting still happens on this Mac. Nothing is uploaded.
  10. 1.3.1

    • While Cerebro reads your library or a folder, every folder counts as it goes: you watch the numbers grow instead of waiting for the end.
    • Sorting still happens on this Mac. Nothing is uploaded.
  11. 1.3.0

    • Cerebro sorts any folder too: Downloads, an external drive, an iCloud Drive folder. Choose “Choose a folder” on the Cerebro screen.
    • Keep the sorted copies in folders where you choose. Originals are never moved, renamed or deleted.
    • Your whole Photos library, iCloud included, sorts as before, and the sorting still happens on this Mac. Nothing is uploaded.
  12. 1.2.0

    • Cerebro: your whole Photos library, iCloud included, sorted into folders in seconds: selfies, food, travel, screenshots, videos and more, with the duplicates set apart. Choose “Cerebro: Sort My Photos” in the app’s menu or in the menu bar.
    • The sorting happens on this Mac, with Apple’s own image recognition. Nothing is uploaded.
    • Keep the folders as albums in Photos with one click. Nothing is moved or deleted.
  13. 1.1.0

    • The whole Mellow Hub in a window of its own: open it from the menu bar, the Dock or ⌘0. Sign in with the code from your email; ⌘N starts a new post.
    • New widgets: Week rings, Views by network, Streak, Next post, Best post, One network and Week ahead.
    • Four looks for every widget in Mellow Hub's colours: Ink, Paper, Cobalt and Lime, or Auto with your Mac. Choose it in each widget or once in Settings.
    • The Mellow Hub logo in the Dock and the menu bar.
    • Tapping a widget opens its page right in the app.
  14. 1.0.1

    • Fixes the Sign in button staying on “Signing in…” after you were already signed in, until you answered the question about notifications.
    • Nothing else changed.
  15. 1.0.0

    • The first release: your Mellow Hub numbers on the desktop. Views for the week, a tile for each network, what is next in the queue, and a dashboard with all of it.
    • To add a widget, right-click the desktop, choose Edit Widgets and search for Mellow Hub.
    • It only reads your numbers. Nothing is published from the app, and you can end its access any time in Agents & access in Hub.
    • It checks for updates by itself, twice a day.
